Description:
The Senior Unreal Engineer will be responsible for experimenting with game design, using rapid prototyping, and making strong architectural and algorithmic decisions.
They will collaborate closely with art and design teams to create and iterate on gameplay features.
The engineer will prototype and iterate on features, be open to critical feedback, and support technical excellence across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities also include optimizing and fixing bugs in existing systems, contributing ideas to all aspects of the game's production and development, and writing robust, maintainable, and performant code.
Requirements:
The candidate must have experience developing games professionally and shipping AAA titles.
Proficiency in developing games in UE4 and/or UE5 is required.
Strong C++ skills are essential, along with the ability to code and architect gameplay mechanics, systems, and tools.
A solid understanding of math, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Familiarity with console/mobile game development and experience working on live service games is preferred.
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and have a deep interest in games.
