Description:
Wealth.com is seeking a Senior User Experience (UX) Researcher to join their product design team as a contractor.
The role involves leading comprehensive research initiatives that shape product development and user-centered design strategies.
The researcher will apply both generative and evaluative research methods to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, is essential to ensure the user's voice is central to product decisions.
Responsibilities include leading and conducting research using various methods, developing and executing research plans, conducting usability testing, creating user personas, developing user journey maps, analyzing data, and collaborating with stakeholders.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of experience in UX research, focusing on both generative and evaluative research methods.
Proven expertise in usability testing, surveys, persona development, and user journey mapping is required.
Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, data collection, and analysis tools is necessary.
Experience in a fast-paced Agile product development environment and collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.
Excellent communication skills are required to present complex research findings clearly to stakeholders.
A proven track record of translating research insights into design recommendations and product strategies is necessary.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field is required.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $55 - $65.
