Description:

Devtech is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to shape and expand their newly established research practice.
This role involves developing and implementing best practices in UX research and collaborating closely with Product, UX Design, and Engineering teams.
The UX Researcher will conduct mixed-methods research and share actionable insights through engaging presentations and clear documentation.
Responsibilities include planning and executing user-centered research, incorporating user metrics and business KPIs, and communicating results effectively.
The position requires fostering a deep understanding of customers and the industry, collaborating with various teams, and building trusting relationships.
The UX Researcher will also help democratize the UXR practice by assisting Product Designers with a self-testing program.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of professional experience in qualitative user research, including Design Sprints, field research, 1:1 interviews, focus groups, concept testing, beta tests, and survey design and analysis.
Experience and knowledge of B2B practices and technology is essential.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required, including presentation skills and the ability to articulate design rationale persuasively.
Experience working in an agile development process is necessary.
Proficiency in various research methodologies, including in-person and remote facilitation and contextual inquiries, is required.
Candidates should have experience collaborating across teams, including Product Design and Development.
The ability to track and manage competing priorities is essential.
Candidates must be able to work independently and identify further areas of research.
A compelling portfolio showcasing research, facilitation, and presentation skills is required.
A Bachelor’s or MS in a human behavior-related field (or equivalent and demonstrable work experience) is necessary.
