Description:
Represent the needs of customers throughout the product and design lifecycle, from discovery to design validation and customer adoption for a range of products.
Apply suitable research techniques and methods for specific project requirements.
Engage with customers to comprehend their unique product needs, including defining and synthesizing user types, use cases, and UX opportunities.
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to influence product strategy and roadmaps.
Validate feature and design direction through various testing methods like participatory design, concept testing, and usability testing.
Analyze and synthesize qualitative studies and quantitative data to generate strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
Communicate research findings through artifacts such as user segments, persona frameworks, user journeys, and task analyses.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree or higher in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Design, or related field.
Solid experience in applying customer-centered research techniques to product definition and design.
Understanding and experience in planning and executing research studies, including developing sample plans and determining data collection approaches.
A portfolio showcasing research work that influenced insights or experiences, including research goals, methodologies, process, involvement, data visualizations, and insights.
5+ years of experience in customer-centered research is preferred, with a Master's degree or PhD as a bonus.
Ability to develop insightful questions for technical and business-minded end-users.
Proficiency in user interface design, usability evaluation techniques, task analysis, and experimental design.
Experience with online surveys and qualitative research techniques.
Excellent presentation skills to communicate complex topics effectively.
Quick learner with the ability to grasp new technical concepts.
