PointClickCare is a leading North American healthcare technology platform focused on enabling meaningful care collaboration and real-time patient insights.
The Senior Vice President Engineering - Platform and Data will report directly to the CTO and lead an organization that includes engineering and architecture.
This role involves advancing the platform and data platform capabilities and working closely with other Engineering and Product leaders.
Key responsibilities include leading the delivery of a service-oriented software platform, coaching and recruiting talent, advocating for accountable engineering teams, and ensuring agile delivery of new capabilities.
The position requires maintaining direct communication with customers to address issues and improve engineering processes for better velocity and transparency.
The role also involves participating in architecture, design, and technology decisions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of leadership experience in commercial enterprise software engineering with organizations larger than 50 people.
A minimum of 5+ years delivering commercial software as a service (SaaS) solutions is required.
Proven success in growing high-caliber engineering organizations is essential.
Experience collaborating with senior leadership on strategic priorities is necessary.
Candidates should have advanced knowledge of systems and application architecture practices.
Expertise in large-scale SaaS platform and interoperability engineering, as well as large-scale SaaS data platform engineering, is required.
Familiarity with effective agile practices for large engineering organizations is necessary.
Experience leading full stack teams with blended developers and QA is essential.
Candidates should have experience delivering complex enterprise solutions with demanding reliability and regulatory requirements.
