Description:

  • The Senior Vice President, Global Head of AI Business Development is a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategic growth of the organization by identifying, developing, and managing high-impact partnerships, alliances, and business opportunities in the AI industry.
  • This individual will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s global business strategy to maximize market penetration, revenue growth, and competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global business development strategy for AI solutions and services.
  • Identify emerging market trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities in AI to guide strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align business development initiatives with organizational goals and vision.
  • Build and manage strategic alliances with key stakeholders, including technology partners, enterprise clients, research institutions, and government agencies.
  • Lead negotiations for partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing agreements to accelerate growth and innovation.
  • Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives and decision-makers across industries.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on high-value opportunities in global markets.
  • Oversee the development and execution of go-to-market strategies for AI products and services.
  • Monitor sales pipeline and ensure consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global business development team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results-oriented performance.
  • Establish clear performance metrics and accountability frameworks for the team.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and forums to establish thought leadership in AI.
  • Advocate for the adoption of ethical AI practices and promote the organization’s contributions to the AI ecosystem.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments and compliance requirements in the AI industry.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategy roles, with a focus on technology or AI is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience focused on AI solutions or related technologies is necessary.
  • A proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and managing complex global partnerships is essential.
  • A deep understanding of AI technologies, trends, and applications across industries is required.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • The ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations and manage cross-functional teams is essential.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen to assess market opportunities and ROI is required.
  • Experience working in startups, Fortune 500 companies, or high-growth technology firms is necessary.
  • Familiarity with global markets, cultural nuances, and international business practices is required.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing, machine learning, and emerging AI technologies is essential.

Benefits:

  • The anticipated starting pay range is $245,000 - $385,000, with potential variable compensation in the form of bonuses, commissions, or other discretionary payments based on company and/or individual performance.
  • Actual compensation may vary based on skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
