Remote Senior Web Developer

Description:

• As the Senior Web Developer at Red Canary, you will be responsible for leading the development of the public website and managing it within the Digital Marketing team.
• You will collaborate with engineering teams, product, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
• Your tasks will include maintaining the backlog, leading development projects, owning the technical direction and infrastructure of the website, QAing completed work, and improving the system for managing site content updates.
• You will provide technical leadership, participate in design and requirement reviews, ensure a seamless user experience, and collaborate with various departments to deliver projects on time.
• Additionally, you will assess new initiatives, manage the relationship with the hosting provider, and lead the website into the future using cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience as a backend developer, front-end development, and project management is required.
• Proficiency in core web technologies such as PHP, WordPress, HTML5, CSS, JS frameworks, and AWS is necessary.
• Experience with front-end architecture, working in an agile environment, coding for cross-browser compatibility, and object-oriented coding is essential.
• Knowledge of version/source control, bug tracking, and web architecture best practices is required.

Benefits:

• The compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 plus bonus and equity.
