Description:
Remo is a virtual dementia care provider focused on creating personalized, comprehensive care for patients and their families.
The Senior Web Engineer will be responsible for enhancing Remo’s web presence by creating high-performing and engaging digital experiences.
This role combines design and front-end engineering with a focus on growth, ensuring the platform is visually appealing and effective in driving engagement.
The engineer will collaborate with Product, Design, and Growth teams to optimize user experience, onboarding, and conversion.
Responsibilities include maintaining front-end and design systems for consistency across the web presence and addressing customer requests and urgent fixes.
The engineer will also contribute to planned development cycles using the Shape Up methodology.
The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership, and prioritize user experience.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of web development experience, particularly in front-end development using TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, React, GraphQL, and Storybook.
Proven experience in building high-quality web experiences that are accessible, performant, responsive, and scalable is required.
A strong design sensibility and experience collaborating with design teams to create pixel-perfect user interfaces using Figma is necessary.
Experience in building and maintaining APIs, particularly with GraphQL, and understanding API design best practices is essential.
Hands-on experience with performance monitoring tools, front-end security, and reliability best practices is required.
Proficiency in modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, and Storybook is necessary.
Experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-hosted services like AWS, Google Cloud, and GitHub is required.
Familiarity with customer data platforms like Segment and experience integrating analytics tools such as Mixpanel and BigQuery is preferred.
A deep passion for creating user-centric and empathetic web experiences is essential.
Candidates should possess a problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
