Description:
Lead the development of custom WordPress themes, plugins, and websites, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to WordPress coding standards and best practices.
Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, tailored to meet client requirements and specifications.
Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to extend functionality and meet project requirements.
Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to WordPress coding standards.
Analyze technical challenges and propose innovative solutions using WordPress and related technologies.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, configuration guides, and best practices.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality WordPress solutions that meet client expectations.
Interact with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and present solutions effectively.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in theme and plugin development.
Expertise in GraphQL.
Expertise in WordPress CMS, including theme and plugin development.
Proficiency in PHP programming language with a focus on WordPress coding standards.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with proficiency in responsive design techniques.
Knowledge of WordPress APIs and integration with third-party services and APIs.
Familiarity with MySQL or other relational database management systems.
Familiarity with TypeScript and React.
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices for WordPress.
Familiarity with server configurations and hosting environments for WordPress websites.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on finding practical and effective solutions to technical challenges in WordPress development.
Nice to have: Strong React/TypeScript knowledge, experience with Next.js, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in WordPress development are a plus.
