Description:

• RYNO Strategic Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior WordPress Web Developer to join their team.
• The ideal candidate should be passionate about web development, writing clean, efficient, and scalable code while staying updated with the latest industry trends.
• Responsibilities include developing custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive websites, and ensuring cross-browser compatibility and high performance.
• The developer will work with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to create flexible, client-friendly WordPress sites and optimize websites for speed, SEO, and security.
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues to ensure stability and performance is also a key responsibility.
• Collaboration with designers, marketers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions is essential.
• The role involves implementing version control (Git) and following development best practices, as well as maintaining and updating WordPress core, themes, and plugins as needed.
• Staying up to date with the latest web technologies and WordPress advancements is expected.
• Other duties may be assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in front-end web development.
• Expertise in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins, is required.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles is necessary.
• An excellent understanding of the CSS box model, flexbox, and grid layout is essential.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS/SCSS is required.
• Proficiency in PHP, with the ability to write custom functions and modify templates, is necessary.
• Experience with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for structured content management is required.
• Familiarity with website optimization techniques, including performance, caching, and SEO, is essential.
• A strong understanding of web security best practices is necessary.
• Candidates should be comfortable using version control systems (Git/GitHub) in a team environment.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with custom plugin development beyond standard implementations, basic proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery, and an understanding of DNS management and web hosting configurations.
• Familiarity with development tools such as project management and support tools (e.g., JIRA, ClickUp), IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio Code, PHPStorm), and database management tools (e.g., MySQL, Workbench, MongoDB Compass) is also preferred.
