Description:

Join the Cloud Tools team at NFQ, working remotely from Vietnam, and collaborate with colleagues from Germany and Asia.
Contribute to the development, protection, and progression of software and services for the commercetools platform, focusing on availability, capacity, and performance.
Support internal developers and teams by managing services related to logs, metrics, security, CI/CD, and SLOs.
Participate in regular stand-ups, pair programming, and knowledge-sharing sessions within a culture of transparency and continuous learning.
Design and implement resilient and scalable infrastructure and services for development teams.
Minimize incident impacts through proactive monitoring, logging, and metrics management.
Engage in on-call rotation for production systems with a globally distributed team.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Systems Engineer and Software Engineer in an international team setting.
Strong Linux skills and proficiency in at least one major programming language, preferably Golang or Python, with Java/Scala as a plus.
Familiarity with major cloud providers such as Google Cloud or Amazon AWS.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/delivery.
Proficient in managing logging and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus/Thanos) at scale.
A mindset geared towards sharing knowledge and a desire for continuous self-improvement and learning.
Fluent English skills for effective communication in an international, cross-functional team.
Nice to have: operational experience with MongoDB and ElasticSearch, advanced JVM knowledge, and experience managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
