Description:

Association Hero is a fast-growing, profitable US-based software startup building Careerplex, a career center platform for trade and professional associations.
The company is looking for an experienced Senior or Principal Software Engineer with deep expertise in C# and .NET Core.
This role involves being a key member of a cross-functional product team, responsible for designing, developing, and shipping new features while maintaining existing services.
The engineer will gain a deep understanding of customer and product needs, be involved in the design and decision-making process, and work independently to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities include designing and developing scalable services and APIs, ensuring API security and performance, writing clean and documented code, writing unit and integration tests, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of back-end development experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary.
Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core is required.
Experience with Entity Framework Core Code-First is essential.
Proficiency in MSSQL is required.
Proven experience in designing and developing APIs is necessary.
Preferred qualifications include experience working on SaaS products, building front-ends with Vue or React, and familiarity with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Candidates should possess the ability to understand complex customer and product needs, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
