The Mobile App User Acquisition team focuses on designing and building backend services and pipelines for high-performance, real-time advertising for mobile app campaigns.
Responsibilities include developing high-performance, data-intensive microservices primarily in Go, architecting event-driven data pipelines, collaborating with data scientists, and optimizing user acquisition strategies.
The position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in North America.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer, with exposure to large-scale distributed systems and data pipelines in a mobile user acquisition environment.
Strong problem-solving skills are required, with demonstrated expertise in algorithms, data structures, and complex system design.
Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike, Redis, ScyllaDB) is necessary for storing and retrieving large volumes of data.
Hands-on experience with building microservices and using message queues (Kafka, SQS, Kinesis) to handle massive event streams in real time is essential.
A proven track record of writing highly optimized, scalable code in Go or similar languages is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, globally distributed environment are necessary.
