Description:

StackAdapt is looking to add Senior and Staff Data Engineers to its data science team to solve complex problems for its digital advertising platform.
The role involves working directly with data scientists, data engineers, the Engineering team, and the CTO on building pipelines and ad optimization models.
Responsibilities include designing modular and scalable real-time data pipelines to handle huge datasets, suggesting and implementing architectural improvements for big data ML pipelines, understanding and implementing custom ML algorithms in a low latency environment, and working on microservice architectures that run training, inference, and monitoring on thousands of ML models concurrently.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company, open to candidates located anywhere in North America.
Requirements:
Candidates must have the ability to take ambiguously defined tasks and break them down into actionable steps.
The role requires the ability to follow through complex projects to completion, both independently and by coordinating with others.
A deep understanding of algorithm and software design, concurrency, and data structures is essential.
Experience in implementing probabilistic or machine learning algorithms is required.
Candidates should have experience in designing scalable distributed systems.
A high GPA from a well-respected Computer Science program or equivalent experience in a competitive, innovative tech company is preferred.
