Description:
Jobgether is seeking a Senior/Staff DevOps Engineer for AQMed in the United States, offering a remote work opportunity.
This role involves working at the forefront of AI/ML and quantum innovation.
The engineer will support development teams by designing scalable infrastructure, streamlining development pipelines, and promoting DevOps best practices.
Responsibilities include delivering hands-on technical support to developers, optimizing workflows, and solving complex DevOps challenges.
The engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and development tools, primarily in AWS.
Automation strategies will be implemented across CI/CD pipelines and release processes using tools like CircleCI.
The role requires managing configuration systems such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
The engineer will oversee containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes and Docker.
Support for observability and incident response will be provided through tools such as Datadog and PagerDuty.
Collaboration on compliance, security, and regulatory requirements, including CFR 21 traceability, is essential.
The engineer will partner with leadership to align DevOps strategies with long-term product and infrastructure goals.
Requirements:
Candidates must have proven experience in a senior-level DevOps or engineering role, with a strong focus on developer support.
Deep expertise in AWS cloud services is required, with GCP or Azure experience considered a plus.
Proficiency in CI/CD automation, GitHub workflows, and release engineering is necessary.
Strong skills in Linux systems, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools are essential.
Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and secure integration practices is required.
Programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python, are necessary.
Experience with IoT device orchestration and highly distributed systems is preferred.
A background in MedTech, machine learning environments, and regulatory compliance (CFR 21, CloudTrail) is preferred.
