Requirements:
The role requires a dedicated DevOps engineer to take ownership of the platform's stability, observability, and operational excellence.
Candidates should have experience in establishing and enhancing monitoring and alerting systems to improve platform health.
Proactive identification of risks and bottlenecks in systems is essential, along with implementing solutions for increased resilience and uptime.
Candidates must monitor infrastructure spending and identify inefficiencies to optimize usage without compromising performance.
Building and maintaining automation and scripts to reduce manual tasks and improve developer workflows is a key responsibility.
Strengthening the deployment pipeline for predictable and safe releases is necessary.
Candidates should enable faster software delivery by creating tooling and automation for engineers.
Defining and implementing key metrics to monitor infrastructure and platform performance is required.
Ensuring infrastructure scalability as the company grows is crucial.
Experience with cloud-native infrastructure, particularly AWS and GCP, is preferred, along with familiarity with tools like Kafka, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
