Description:

The Senior/Staff Full-Stack Engineer position at LocalStack involves working on the LocalStack Platform, which provides a Web application and APIs to enhance cloud development workflows.
Responsibilities include implementing new features, leading projects from conception to delivery, expanding SaaS offerings, ensuring operational excellence, and driving the development of solutions end-to-end.
The role requires expertise in Python and Typescript/React to build professional tooling around the core LocalStack emulators, focusing on creating exceptional developer experiences and shaping the future of cloud development at LocalStack.

Requirements:

Extensive experience leading projects and teams in software development, including scoping and breakdown of product solutions.
Proficiency in Python and TypeScript (preferably React) for building full-stack SaaS applications in the cloud.
Experience with cloud solutions, preferably on AWS, and operational excellence best practices.
Ability to work independently, mentor junior team members, and clarify ambiguity to define customer needs.
Passion for developer tooling, developer experience, and cloud development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Prior experience contributing to open source projects on Github is a plus.
