Description:

The Signaling Software Engineer at Soracom is responsible for building and operating systems that support the core communication services provided by Soracom.
The communication services are centered around a software-based mobile core network designed, developed, and operated in-house, running on AWS.
This mobile core network operates in a scalable manner in the cloud, providing high added value to customers' IoT systems by integrating with the application layer.
The engineer will actively implement features for new standards and services such as 5G and AWS Wavelength.
The role involves software development and operation of the mobile core network, which is crucial for Soracom.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in server-side development and operation of large-scale traffic systems.
Proficiency in statically typed programming languages such as Go, Java, or TypeScript is required.
Knowledge and experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, caching, and messaging technologies are essential.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is necessary.
Knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools are required.
Basic knowledge of network programming, including TCP, UDP, and HTTP REST API (Client, Server), is needed.
Basic English proficiency is required, including experience in conducting meetings in English and communicating via email and chat.
