Remote Single Family AWS Full Stack Java Software Engineer (Open to Remote) at Fannie Mae

Description:

Collaborate with a team to design, produce, test, and implement moderately complex software, technology, or processes.
Create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.
Independently determine customer needs and develop solution frameworks.
Design and develop software solutions using a process-driven approach.
Implement new software technology and coordinate tasks across the team.
May oversee the maintenance of existing software.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in programming, including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages.
Proficiency in developing websites for hosting via intranet or Internet, including web design, content development, scripting, and network security configuration.
Skilled in cloud technologies, cloud computing, and maintaining product consistency.
Ability to determine causes of operating errors and take corrective action.
Business insight, communication, and documentation skills.
Experience with HTML, UNIX, Jenkins, SQL, JavaScript, APIs, Java, BitBucket, CSS, Docker, and JIRA.
Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 5-10 years of experience.
Additional skills in Java, Javascript, Angular, Vue, REST APIs, Oracle, Postgres databases, AWS technologies, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Fannie Mae DevOps tool stack, Agile methodology, Python, R, and SAS.

Competitive salary range from $119,000 to $155,000.
