Description:

  • Zimperium® is an industry leader in enterprise mobile security, providing a complete mobile threat defense system.
  • The company offers real-time, on-device protection against advanced mobile cyberattacks and malware for IOS, Android, and Windows devices.
  • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will help build an engineering discipline that combines software and systems to develop creative solutions to operations problems.
  • The role focuses on optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and reducing work through automation.
  • You will join a team of problem solvers with diverse perspectives, taking the lead on relevant projects with organizational support and mentorship.
  • Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and delivering software to automate manual operational work.
  • You will troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems, and ensure permanent closure of incidents.
  • Engaging with the development team throughout the software life cycle is essential to help develop software for reliability and scale.
  • You will identify application patterns and analytics to support better service level objectives and design self-healing and resiliency patterns.
  • The role also involves designing automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions.
  • Participation in 24×7 support coverage as needed and mentoring junior developers are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • You must have expertise in at least one technology stack for designing, coding, testing, and delivering software.
  • Proficiency in one or more technology domains is required, with the ability to solve complex and mission-critical problems.
  • A working knowledge of infrastructure components such as routers, load balancers, cloud products, container systems, compute, storage, and networks is necessary.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills are essential for this position.
  • Prior experience in DevOps and/or application development teams is required.
  • Hands-on experience with large-scale software development, preferably in Java, Python, or scripting languages, is necessary.
  • You should have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Docker Swarm style deployments.
  • Exposure to DataDog and DataDog monitoring is required.
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery tools is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience in Unix, specifically Linux and Solaris, is required.
  • Exposure to orchestration and configuration management tools for applications is necessary.
  • Experience with infrastructure components utilized in data warehousing or big data environments is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required, appropriately scaled for senior technical and business audiences.
  • The ability to work and effectively prioritize in a highly dynamic work environment with a global focus is essential.
