Remote Site Reliability Engineer 2

Description:

• Implement resilient production systems using software and systems engineering
• Utilize DevOps tools like Terraform, Gitlab, Gitlab Pipelines, Kubernetes (EKS), and AWS
• Drive innovation and best practices in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Engage in the life cycle of services from design to operation and refinement
• Support services before launch through system design consulting and capacity planning
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to continuous improvement of on-call processes
• Monitor system health, practice sustainable incident response, and develop monitoring tools
• Maintain high service up-time using AWS and company-wide service standards
• Troubleshoot failures and performance issues, apply preventive measures
• Maintain infrastructure including EKS clusters and RDS Aurora DB Clusters
• Support Conversica Development teams to focus on roadmap initiatives

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
• 3+ years managing distributed SaaS systems on AWS
• 3+ years experience in Kubernetes/Docker environment
• 3+ years Unix/Linux system administration experience
• 3+ years building continuous delivery pipelines
• Familiarity with Python, Go, PHP, Ruby, Java, C, C++
• Strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and sense of ownership
• Experience with MySQL, AWS Aurora, or other RDBs
• Experience with configuration management tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
• Experience with full-stack development preferred
• Growth mindset, customer orientation, bias for automation
• Team communication and collaboration skills
