Remote Site Reliability Engineer

Description:

• We seek a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team.
• As an SRE, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems and applications.
• You will implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Victoria-Metrics, and Grafana to proactively identify and address performance issues.
• You will manage logging infrastructure using Fluentd, Fluent-bit, ElasticSearch, and Kibana for efficient log collection, analysis, and visualization.
• You will configure and manage alerting systems like AlertManager and Opsgenie to respond to critical incidents and minimize downtime promptly.
• You will control the utilization of AWS Cloud services and design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available infrastructure.
• You will utilize AWS services such as EC2, VPC, CloudWatch, and IAM to ensure optimal performance and security of our cloud-based applications.
• You will deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for smooth orchestration and scalability.
• You will be proficient in the Debian operating system, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance.
• You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD for seamless software delivery and infrastructure automation.
• You will manage code repositories using GitLab and Git to ensure version control and collaboration among team members.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence for effective project management and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar SRE role is necessary.
• Strong proficiency in monitoring, logging, alerting, cloud, platform, OS, CI/CD, repo storage, and management tools is essential.
• A solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices is required.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
