Description:

  • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager of Cloud Platform Core Services & Infrastructure to help scale Fullstory’s infrastructure systems for efficient and cost-effective support of rapid customer growth.
  • You will design, create, and manage high-performance infrastructure and tooling for both external and internal services.
  • Providing systems for infrastructure provisioning, observability, deployment, and cost tracking across all engineering teams will be part of your responsibilities.
  • You will act as an architectural consultant and operations expert for product teams during the design phase of their features and services.
  • Identifying inefficiencies, risks, and reliability issues, and developing high-leverage tools to address them will be crucial.
  • Writing and maintaining infrastructure-related software will also be a key aspect of your role.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language such as Golang, Python, or C++ is required.
  • Experience in architecting and maintaining systems in a public cloud environment like GCP, AWS, or Azure is necessary.
  • Familiarity with modern metrics, monitoring, and logging frameworks and services like Prometheus, Grafana, and Stackdriver is essential.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties is a requirement for this position.
