The Site Reliability Engineer will ensure the optimal performance and resilience of production services.
Responsibilities include managing multi-cloud infrastructure, leveraging IaC for automation, and ensuring HIPAA and HITRUST compliance for sensitive data.
The role involves supporting an application stack consisting of Next.js, React, and GraphQL applications.
The engineer will manage and monitor infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment, specifically Google Cloud and AWS.
The position requires ownership of monitoring, logging, and alert systems using Datadog features.
The engineer will lead incident response, remediation, and post-mortems while implementing preventative solutions.
The role includes utilizing IaC (Terraform Cloud) for automating infrastructure deployments and managing state.
Security best practices regarding HIPAA and HITRUST compliance must be followed to ensure the security of PHI/PII data.
The engineer will design solutions for high availability, redundancy, and fail-over for ecosystem resilience.
Assistance in load and chaos testing systems and services for resilience and developing proper scaling strategies is also required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or similar in the Healthcare space.
A minimum of 4+ years of experience working with Terraform for automating the provisioning, deployment, and scaling of AWS and/or GCP resources is required.
At least 2+ years of cloud security experience is necessary.
Proficiency in supporting Javascript frameworks such as Node.js, Next.js, and Nest.js is essential.
Solid knowledge of Javascript and a language such as Python for scripting and automation is required.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud or AWS is mandatory.
Candidates should be well-versed in Datadog features including APM, Logs, Error Tracking, Digital Experience, SIEM, and Dashboards.
Strong experience with containerized applications is required.
Proficiency in ensuring the reliability of relational databases, specifically Postgres, is necessary.
Hands-on experience and proficiency with Terraform is essential.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions, Jenkins, Gitlab, or Circle is required.
Understanding of cloud networking, VPNs, and VPCs is necessary.
Experience in setting up and maintaining Kubernetes Clusters is required.
Experience with Aptible is a plus.
Knowledge of HIPAA/HITRUST compliance and related security best practices is essential.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are a must.
