Description:

Phaidra is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their engineering team, focusing on building and maintaining world-class infrastructure.
The role involves working in the Infrastructure Engineering team and making an immediate impact on the product and team growth.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion, distributed model training, automating end-to-end systems, and multi-cloud deployments.
The ideal candidate should have expertise in cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Observability.
The position is remote, with applicants accepted from specific states in the USA and provinces in Canada.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of work experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in automating Cloud and Networking infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
A good understanding of Linux-based Operating Systems, Containerization, and Orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
Experience with Terraform or other configuration management tools is essential.
Candidates should have experience with Monitoring stacks such as Prometheus or Influx and programming experience, ideally with Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
A good understanding of DevOps, SRE principles, and Platform Engineering is required, along with alignment to company values such as curiosity and customer empathy.
