Remote Site Reliability Engineer

Description:

• Artisan Studios is a digital innovation consultancy focused on technology strategy and solution services for global leaders in retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors.
• The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Consulting Lead will be the team leader and main point of contact for clients, ensuring communication and project goal achievement.
• This role involves 60% client-facing responsibilities and 40% hands-on engineering work.
• Key responsibilities include leading the internal team to meet client needs, representing the company in client activities, demonstrating technical expertise, consulting in system design, automating infrastructure, conducting post-mortems of incidents, assisting with operational security, and advocating for security solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 7+ years of technical experience and 3+ years of people/team management experience.
• Proven experience with Git, GitHub actions or other CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, and AWS is required.
• Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Golang, or Java is necessary.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes and related tool sets is essential.
• Experience in developing and monitoring mission-critical systems using tools like Prometheus/Grafana and Datadog is required.
• Prior experience at an innovative technology consulting firm is preferred.
• A BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is considered an extra credit.
• Experience with eCommerce, retail solutions, and supply chain & logistics environments is also a plus.
