Description:

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will work in the Managed Services team to support clients' hosted cloud applications and accounts.
Responsibilities include maintaining application availability, stability, and scalability, implementing changes to applications and infrastructure, monitoring architecture through automation, and working directly with clients to address issues and provide recommendations.
The SRE will collaborate with Engineers and Atlassian Administrators to automate scalable solutions, drive operational efficiencies, and expand Hosting and Support practice.
The position reports to the head of Managed Services and involves working on team deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and support.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience with Linux OS (Ubuntu/CentOS)
Proficiency in the Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) for functional, application, and infrastructure administration
Minimum 2 years of experience in AWS system administration and/or application support
Strong technical understanding of AWS services like EC2, RDS, EBS, S3, etc.
Knowledge of infrastructure load and performance metrics, experience with tools like ELK, Splunk, New Relic, and CloudWatch
Familiarity with IT change management processes, DevOps (CI/CD) tools, and information security requirements
Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and/or CloudFormation
Ability to provide 24/7/365 support coverage, including on-call weekend rotations
