Remote Site Reliability Engineer

• Responsibilities include supporting end-to-end monitoring of cloud deployments and advocating proper DevOps practices across software engineering teams.
• The ideal candidate should have professional experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
• A strong understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and performance tuning is necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is essential.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) is required.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is needed.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are a must.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
• A passion for automation and efficiency is important.
