Description:

Argus Labs is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to work remotely in the APAC region.
The company is focused on developing the next generation of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games using their World Engine framework.
World Engine utilizes a sharded rollup blockchain architecture to support user-generated content and scale to tens of thousands of concurrent users.
The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance user experience, designing operational infrastructure, and promoting a security culture.
Responsibilities include owning the delivery, scalability, and reliability of backend infrastructure and advising the engineering team on building secure products.

Requirements:

Candidates must be based in APAC and have the legal right to work in APAC countries.
A minimum of 4 years of experience managing software deployment pipelines in a production cloud environment is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, or Python is necessary.
Strong scripting skills in Bash are required.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi is essential.
Expertise in CI/CD practices, particularly with GitHub Actions, is required.
Experience in managing production Kubernetes environments and database infrastructure is necessary.
Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to design and implement highly available and reliable systems.
