Description:
The Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for operational management and application support within the AIOps group.
Design, integrate, and provide full-stack lifecycle support for applications supporting the AIOps platform.
Own CI/CD initiatives and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
Collaborate with DevOps teams, customers, and infrastructure partners to identify key system health/performance metrics and develop monitoring approaches.
Participate in incident cause-analysis, remediation, and design efforts to improve reliability.
Advance the AIOps offering through measurement and analysis of monitoring and alerting patterns.
Write code and scripts for automation and assist in project estimations.
Requirements:
Expertise in implementing Site Reliability Engineering best practices and principles, including Resiliency and Observability.
Proficiency in Agile DevOps methodologies, processes, and associated software like ServiceNow Agile and Jira.
Strong troubleshooting skills for large-scale distributed computing systems and software.
Experience with automation, CI/CD pipelines, and software testing tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, and Jenkins.
Familiarity with version control management, monitoring platforms, public cloud services, OS management, script language development, network technology concepts, and cybersecurity best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to collaborate effectively with teams, customers, and peers, as well as communicate with software vendors.
Tolerance for stress and a supportive attitude towards colleagues.
BS in computer science or related field, with 2+ years of site reliability experience preferred.
Media industry experience and cloud platform certification are desirable.
