Description:

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be part of a small but highly skilled team dedicated to ensuring the stability and reliability of Mural’s services.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure on Azure to ensure scalability and reliability through automation.
The engineer will participate in an on-call rotation, practicing sustainable incident response and contributing to continuous improvement through postmortems.
Collaboration with team members and cross-functional partners is crucial to enhance the resilience and efficiency of services.
Responsibilities include designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing and monitoring infrastructure.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a software engineer is required.
Candidates must have experience in building reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.
Strong problem-solving skills are essential for finding and resolving issues.
The candidate should be ready to handle production issues and operational tasks.
Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure as code is necessary.
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes is required.
Good communication skills are important for collaboration.
Basic experience with Docker containers is preferred.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and monitoring tools is necessary.
Basic Linux administration skills are required.
An understanding of basic security principles is essential.
A strong understanding of network technologies and protocols, including routing protocols, load balancing techniques, firewall configurations, and network security best practices is required.
