Description:
ARFA Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in Broadcast Automation to join their innovative team.
The role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and efficiency of broadcast automation systems.
Responsibilities include monitoring broadcast automation systems to ensure high availability and performance.
The engineer will implement and manage automated deployment processes for broadcasting applications.
Troubleshooting and resolving incidents impacting broadcast automation services promptly and effectively is a key duty.
The position requires close collaboration with the development team to design and implement scalable solutions that meet reliability standards.
Participation in on-call rotations to provide support for critical incidents is expected.
The engineer will develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, operational procedures, and incident reports.
Continuous assessment and improvement of existing processes for reliability and efficiency is essential.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies related to site reliability and broadcast automation is important.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer role or a similar position.
Strong knowledge of broadcast automation systems and workflows is necessary.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages, specifically Python or Bash, is essential.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and their services is needed.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is required.
A solid understanding of configuration management tools, including Ansible and Terraform, is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing incidents are essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are required.
