Description:
Argus Labs is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to work remotely in Canada.
The company is focused on developing the next generation of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games using their World Engine framework.
World Engine utilizes a sharded rollup blockchain architecture to support user-generated content while maintaining high performance for thousands of concurrent users.
The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to enhance user experience, designing operational infrastructure, promoting security culture, and ensuring the reliability of backend systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must be based in Canada and have the legal right to work there.
A minimum of 4 years of experience managing software deployment pipelines in a production cloud environment is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, or Python is necessary.
Strong scripting skills in Bash are essential.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi is required.
Expertise in CI/CD practices, particularly with GitHub Actions, is necessary.
Experience in managing production Kubernetes environments and database infrastructure is required.
Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.
The ability to design and implement highly available and reliable systems is required.
