Description:

  • The company is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join their team in Barcelona, Spain.

  • The Platform Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer will assist clients with projects such as cloud migration, supporting software teams, and setting up CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have experience in building scalable and automated cloud platforms, preferably on AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in provisioning and supporting cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code and CI/CD tools like Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation is required.
  • Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Candidates should have worked with external partners on scalable requirements and designs delivered on time.
  • Familiarity with ELK, BeeHive, or similar tools (Grafana, Graphite) is expected.
  • Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools, preferably New Relic, is required.
  • Strong foundations in service observability and service design are essential.
  • A commitment to sustainable and secure practices is crucial.
  • Bonus qualifications include experience with provisioning tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, basic programming knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell), experience in running performance and load tests, and an interest in security practices (SAST).
