PEXA is a company that has revolutionized property settlement in Australia and is expanding into the UK market.
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for the technical support and operation of UK Platforms, managing incidents, and supporting software releases.
The role aims to ensure that PEXA's support offering adheres to high operational and security standards while delivering a seamless support experience to customers.
Key responsibilities include ensuring high availability of UK platforms, managing incidents, optimizing monitoring and alerting, and identifying process improvements.
The SRE will collaborate with customer support teams and product development squads globally to enhance technical support for customers and partners.
Additional activities include application and infrastructure patching, disaster recovery testing, and updating operational playbooks and knowledge articles.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with distributed systems in AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
A developer mindset is essential for understanding software and infrastructure design and integration.
Strong knowledge of container orchestration, particularly with Kubernetes, is required.
Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic, and Splunk is necessary.
Experience with incident management platforms like PagerDuty is required.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation is essential.
A strong understanding of modern SDLC and CI/CD processes, along with experience in scripting and version control systems like Git, is required.
Candidates should have experience in high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
