Remote Site Reliability Engineer

Description:

• Freed is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to manage and expand cloud infrastructure, oversee communications infrastructure, optimize infrastructure for cost and latency, implement security requirements, develop monitoring dashboards, maintain databases, and collaborate with team members in a fully remote work environment.
• The role involves working with Azure, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, and various tools to ensure product health and stability.
• The engineer will be responsible for demonstrating a strong sense of ownership, commitment, and passion for making a positive impact on the healthcare industry.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in a SRE / Production Engineering role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Git, Kubernetes, Bash, and Networking (DNS, SSL, IP).
• Familiarity with Azure, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Github, and VSCode.
• Security-oriented mindset and experience in implementing security best practices.
