Description:
Bloomreach is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer-II to improve and manage infrastructure for efficiency and scalability.
The role involves writing and reviewing code, developing documentation, creating capacity plans, and optimizing service costs.
The engineer will set up Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and collaborate with partner teams to develop, track, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
Responsibilities include implementing monitoring for infrastructure and applications.
The engineer will share an on-call rotation with partner teams and serve as an escalation contact for service incidents.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in building software solutions is required.
Strong understanding of Linux-based operating systems is essential.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java is necessary.
Proven experience with building services, supportability, and monitoring infrastructures is required.
Knowledge of TCP/IP network fundamentals is needed.
Experience in DevOps tools, including Docker, Terraform, and Kubernetes (K8s) is required.
Candidates should have experience in configuring and maintaining web servers, load balancers, relational databases, storage systems, and messaging systems.
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as Amazon AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is necessary.
Certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) would be a strong plus.
