Remote Site Reliability Engineer II

Description:

• The Site Reliability Engineer II will be responsible for executing infrastructure and reliability work within the Platform team at Articulate.
• They will work on maintaining and orchestrating infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Github Actions, Kubernetes, and more in AWS.
• The role involves collaborating with senior engineers, delivering scalable infrastructure solutions, participating in on-call rotations, and contributing to incident reviews.
• The engineer will be involved in project milestones, testing infrastructure, and ensuring timely execution of technical project work.
• They should have a proactive problem-solving approach, be a nimble learner, and a collaborator within the team.
• The position requires sharing knowledge across teams, setting up monitoring solutions, and using KPIs for observability and alerting.
• Nice-to-have skills include experience with AWS environments, Helm charts, optimizing infrastructure for AI/ML workloads, and familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD deployment practices.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer II or equivalent role.
• Hands-on experience with Go, Javascript, or similar languages.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Demonstrated experience with Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience using Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
• Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.
• Ability to share knowledge across teams and create a self-serving platform.
• Proficiency in implementing and managing monitoring solutions and setting up alerts for performance issues.
• Knowledge of using KPIs for observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Focus on iterative development practices and delivering value incrementally over time.

Benefits:

• The pay range for this position is $99,900 to $149,900 for all US locations.
