Description:
The position is for a Site Reliability Engineer II at Neon, a fintech focused on simplifying banking for Brazilians.
The role is remote and aims to build, support, and recognize diverse teams.
Responsibilities include automating repetitive tasks related to provisioning, configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure and applications.
The engineer will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
They will implement infrastructure as code (IaC) tools to ensure consistency and repeatability of environments.
The role involves influencing and designing infrastructure, architecture, standards, and methods for large-scale systems.
Support services before production will be provided through infrastructure design, software platform development, load testing, capacity planning, and release analysis.
Monitoring the performance and health of infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues proactively is essential.
The engineer will implement and manage observability tools to collect logs, metrics, and traces from applications and infrastructure.
They will also implement DevOps practices to enhance communication, collaboration, and efficiency among teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3 to 4 years of experience in the field.
A deep understanding of system architectures and IT infrastructure, including Cloud Native, Containers, Networks, and Kubernetes EKS, is required.
Experience with automation tools and cloud technologies such as Terraform and CloudFormation is necessary.
Advanced scripting skills in languages like Python and Golang are essential.
Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and Dynatrace is required.
Knowledge of cybersecurity and best compliance practices is also necessary.
