Description:
LivePerson is seeking a Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer for the GPT Division to build and manage highly available, distributed systems.
The role involves leading a team to ensure product high uptime and reliability 24x7.
Providing technical leadership and support to various stakeholders such as development teams, data team, and leadership.
Hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations of cloud environments, Kubernetes platform, data and messaging platform, and security/compliance.
Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of experience managing cloud-based production environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc).
Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
Solid hands-on experience and understanding of system architecture.
Proficiency in Linux environment and scripting in Bash/Python.
Experience with configuration management systems like Puppet, OpsCode Chef, Ansible, etc.
Strong knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IAC.
Experience with SQL and managing SQL and NOSQL database systems.
Proficiency in Kubernetes platform, Helm, and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with monitoring resources and alerting systems like Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, DataDog, and PagerDuty.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines orchestrators like TeamCity, Jenkins, Gitlab.
BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Strong background in cloud, network, and application security and compliance.
Experience with GPT or other LLMs is an advantage.
