Description:

  • LivePerson is seeking a Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer for the GPT Division to build and manage highly available, distributed systems.
  • The role involves leading a team to ensure product high uptime and reliability 24x7.
  • Providing technical leadership and support to various stakeholders such as development teams, data team, and leadership.
  • Hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations of cloud environments, Kubernetes platform, data and messaging platform, and security/compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience managing cloud-based production environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Solid hands-on experience and understanding of system architecture.
  • Proficiency in Linux environment and scripting in Bash/Python.
  • Experience with configuration management systems like Puppet, OpsCode Chef, Ansible, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IAC.
  • Experience with SQL and managing SQL and NOSQL database systems.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes platform, Helm, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with monitoring resources and alerting systems like Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, DataDog, and PagerDuty.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines orchestrators like TeamCity, Jenkins, Gitlab.
  • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong background in cloud, network, and application security and compliance.
  • Experience with GPT or other LLMs is an advantage.
