Description:

Join the Site Reliability Engineering team at Sinch as a Site Reliability Engineer based in France.
Play a crucial role in managing the global infrastructure by monitoring KPIs, collaborating with engineers, automating processes, and planning for scalability.
Partner with product engineering teams to determine systems requirements.
Build and maintain cloud-based microservices infrastructure.
Automate routine processes and remediation tasks.
Develop, monitor, and track Service Level Objectives (SLOs) for managed systems.
Troubleshoot, resolve, and plan for issues from various sources.
Ensure optimal performance of datastores.
Contribute to the growth and culture of the engineering team.

Requirements:

Background in infrastructure, operations, or software engineering.
Proficiency in containers and orchestration systems like Nomad.
Experience with cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
Familiarity with configuration management tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Knowledge of distributed data stores like Cassandra, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.
Strong technical skills in infrastructure technologies.
Ability to break down complex tasks into manageable ones.
Excellent communication skills and a history of building strong relationships.
Experience in operating and maintaining production systems in a Linux and public cloud environment.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide team members.
