They are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in AWS services and monitoring tools.
The SRE will ensure the availability and reliability of services, particularly during out-of-office hours, while most team members are based in Europe and India.
The role involves monitoring platform activity, managing incidents, and improving system resiliency through automation.
Responsibilities include managing AWS infrastructure, handling CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring effective disaster recovery strategies.
The SRE will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently to resolve service incidents.
Continuous improvement of processes and monitoring systems is a key focus of the role.
Requirements:
Candidates should have experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar field.
Strong experience with AWS services is required.
Expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch is essential for real-time performance insights.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management for deploying containerized and serverless applications is necessary.
Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and shell scripting is required.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is expected.
Experience with incident management and troubleshooting in high-pressure environments is important.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones are essential.
It is a plus to have experience in a global, distributed team providing off-hours support, knowledge of container orchestration tools, and previous experience with SecOps and cloud security best practices.
