  • They are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise in AWS services and monitoring tools.
  • The SRE will ensure the availability and reliability of services, particularly during out-of-office hours, while most team members are based in Europe and India.
  • The role involves monitoring platform activity, managing incidents, and improving system resiliency through automation.
  • Responsibilities include managing AWS infrastructure, handling CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring effective disaster recovery strategies.
  • The SRE will collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently to resolve service incidents.
  • Continuous improvement of processes and monitoring systems is a key focus of the role.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or a similar field.
  • Strong experience with AWS services is required.
  • Expertise in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch is essential for real-time performance insights.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management for deploying containerized and serverless applications is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems and shell scripting is required.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is expected.
  • Experience with incident management and troubleshooting in high-pressure environments is important.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones are essential.
  • It is a plus to have experience in a global, distributed team providing off-hours support, knowledge of container orchestration tools, and previous experience with SecOps and cloud security best practices.
