Description:

As a Site Reliability Engineer at EFG, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
You will demonstrate a systematic problem-solving approach and the ability to debug and optimize code, as well as automate routine tasks.
Your role will involve ensuring that EFG’s services and systems are reliable, have appropriate uptime, and continuously improve.
You will focus on monitoring system capacity and performance, optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure, and automating tasks.
Collaborating with software engineering teams, you will deploy and operate systems, automate processes, and drive impactful changes in products and platforms.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevXP Engineer, or Software Engineer with a focus on building and maintaining scalable infrastructures.
Excellent working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (GCP/AWS/Azure).
Experience with cluster management systems like Kubernetes.
Knowledge of incident management, including investigating, troubleshooting, recovering, and preventing the recurrence of incidents.
Proficiency in Go language and some level of proficiency in another language like Java, Python, or Rust.
Familiarity with GitOps practices.
Production scale experience with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL.
Experience contributing to open source technologies is a plus.
