Description:
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining high availability of production and non-production work environments.
Your role will involve automating all manual tasks for developing and deploying code and data to implement continuous deployment and continuous integration frameworks.
The product is a cloud-hosted workspace application for business intelligence, enabling users and organizations to create, edit, and share data tables and dashboards powered by a Druid database engine.
Responsibilities include creating state-of-the-art technical architectures with automation to simplify complex product delivery.
You will set up monitoring systems utilizing the “three pillars of observability”: metrics, tracing, and logs.
Implementing cloud architecture in GCP, AWS, and Azure is a key part of the role.
You will maintain and manage the entire deployment stack.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience, ideally in an Enterprise SaaS company within the infrastructure, analytics, and/or data space, is required.
The ability to think through requirements to determine high-impact solutions to problems is essential.
Knowledge of working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery and Snowflake) is necessary for delivering end-to-end Cloud Infrastructure engagements, including assessment, design, deployment, and migrations.
Experience in building and maintaining high-scale distributed systems in a service-oriented architecture is preferred, ideally with tools such as GCP, Pulumi, Kubernetes, and Docker.
Familiarity with infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm is required.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery systems using tools like GitHub Actions, Travis, Argo, or Jenkins is necessary.
Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Python or Golang, is required.
Experience in setting up observability and monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, and Grafana is essential.
Hands-on experience in hardening infrastructure for security, performance, compliance, and regulatory requirements is expected.
