Argus Labs is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer based in South East Asia for a full-time remote position.
The company is focused on developing the next generation of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, utilizing their innovative World Engine framework.
World Engine employs a sharded rollup blockchain architecture, enabling the use of smart contracts for user-generated content while supporting tens of thousands of concurrent users.
The platform has demonstrated high performance, processing over 700,000 player transactions in a week for games like Dark Frontier.
Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to enhance user experience, designing operational infrastructure, promoting security culture, ensuring backend infrastructure reliability, and advising the engineering team on product safety and reliability.

Requirements:

Candidates must be based in South East Asia and have the legal right to work in the region.
A minimum of 4 years of experience managing software deployment pipelines in a production cloud environment is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, JavaScript, or Python is essential.
Strong scripting skills in Bash are necessary.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi is required.
Expertise in CI/CD practices, particularly with GitHub Actions, is essential.
Experience in managing production Kubernetes environments and database infrastructure is required.
Excellent communication and time management skills are necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to design and implement highly available and reliable systems.
