The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role involves ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the cloud-native trading platform.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining infrastructure, automating processes, and collaborating with Development and Platform teams for seamless integration and deployment.
The SRE will act as a link between the organization, executive leadership, and external vendors, ensuring system reliability and improving processes.
Requirements:
Strong experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or a related field is required.
Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana is essential.
Expertise in automation and scripting languages, including Golang, Python, Bash, and Terraform, is needed.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
The candidate must possess strong communication skills to liaise effectively between stakeholders, including internal teams, executive management, and external vendors.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential for the role.
Experience in establishing and enhancing reliability engineering practices and processes is required.
The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic organizational environment with high delivery and quality expectations is necessary.
