  • The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role involves ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the cloud-native trading platform.
  • Responsibilities include building and maintaining infrastructure, automating processes, and collaborating with Development and Platform teams for seamless integration and deployment.
  • The SRE will act as a link between the organization, executive leadership, and external vendors, ensuring system reliability and improving processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in site reliability engineering, systems engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is necessary.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana is essential.
  • Expertise in automation and scripting languages, including Golang, Python, Bash, and Terraform, is needed.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
  • The candidate must possess strong communication skills to liaise effectively between stakeholders, including internal teams, executive management, and external vendors.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential for the role.
  • Experience in establishing and enhancing reliability engineering practices and processes is required.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic organizational environment with high delivery and quality expectations is necessary.
