You will define infrastructure as code and provide critical feedback to developers on Canonical products and open-source technologies.

Responsibilities include developing infrastructure as code practices, automating software operations, maintaining operational responsibility for core services, and collaborating with development teams.

You must have deep experience in defining operations in code, using version control, peer review, and CI/CD to roll out changes to applications and infrastructure.
A strong modern engineering background, including peer-review, unit testing, SCM, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies is required.

Practical knowledge of Linux networking, routing, and firewalls is essential.

A Bachelor's degree or greater, preferably in computer science or a related engineering field, is required.
You must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English across various platforms.
A motivated attitude towards troubleshooting from kernel to web and a willingness to learn new things quickly is essential.
You should be inspired by the needs of fast-changing environments and be happy to work within distributed teams.
A passion for and familiarity with open-source, especially Ubuntu or Debian, is required.

A personal learning and development budget of 2,000 USD per annum is provided.
There is an annual compensation review and recognition rewards.
Employees receive annual holiday leave and parental leave.
An Employee Assistance Programme is available for all team members.
There is an opportunity to travel to new locations to meet colleagues at ‘sprints’.
