Agora builds software for DAOs, protocols, and onchain communities of all shapes and sizes, focusing on token design, token launches, core governance, delegation, and capital allocation.
The company is looking for an exceptional smart contract engineer to advance its governance smart contracts.
The role involves collaborating closely with product, engineering, and client-facing teams to deliver scalable solutions that support key crypto protocols.
Responsibilities include writing clear, maintainable, and secure smart contract code, designing modular and upgradeable smart contract solutions, leading rigorous testing and auditing, partnering with leading clients to design governance features, and staying updated with emerging technologies.
Requirements:
Candidates must be critical thinkers who can see beyond today's challenges and shape the future of decentralized governance.
Attention to detail is essential, with a love for making all tests go green.
Candidates should be fluent in major crypto protocols, design patterns, and governance standards.
A passion for onchain building and exploring new technologies like ZK proofs, account abstraction, and Layer 2 innovations is required.
Active contribution to open-source communities is preferred.
A deep passion for decentralization, onchain governance, and blockchain collaboration is necessary.
Familiarity with Foundry’s build, testing, scripting, and debugging capabilities is essential for success at Agora.
