Description:
N1 is seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to join their software engineering team.
The role involves spearheading the development of core backend components for the blockchain network, focusing on smart contracts that interface with other blockchain networks like Solana.
Responsibilities include designing and coding core backend software components primarily in Rust.
The engineer will ensure the creation, testing, debugging, and deployment of production-grade components.
The position requires maintaining and enhancing high-quality software engineering practices.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have experience in designing, testing, and implementing robust and secure smart contract programs on Solana; experience with other blockchains like Ethereum is a plus.
A strong understanding of smart contract security and the risks associated with blockchain systems is essential.
Experience in writing correct and reliable software is necessary, including having worked on and deployed software changes used by people.
The ideal candidate should be a creative, independent, and collaborative team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Active participation in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Solana projects or the open-source community is highly desirable.
Benefits:
The base salary range for this full-time position is between $120k and $240k, depending on experience and location.
The salary range reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based in New York at any level.
N1 hires exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience, which may result in higher compensation than displayed.
Individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training.
