Remote Snr. Frontend Software Engineer

Description:

• Doowii is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to lead complex engineering projects, set software development standards, and support the engineering team.
• The role involves utilizing the latest frontend technologies to design and build intuitive user interfaces for an edtech product.
• Responsibilities include facilitating frontend and backend integrations, ensuring an exceptional user experience, troubleshooting frontend issues, and optimizing performance and features.
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, 5+ years of technical engineering experience, proficiency in JavaScript, React, and CSS, and experience with cloud-scale services and frontend development tools.
• Additional experience in Education Technology, startup environments, data analytics software, and leading engineering teams is a plus.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Design, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages and frameworks including JavaScript, React, and CSS.
• 3+ years of experience using cloud-scale services and frontend development tools.
• Proven ability to work independently on technical projects.
• Strong ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Confidence to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy in decision-making.
